A whole new site dedicated to my favorite sport is what I am beginning here and its apt that I start it in the midst of the first Grand Slam of the year - the Aussie Open. I guess it was during the late 80s that I first started following the game thanks to Doordarshan which was prompt in telecasting live all Slam matches from the semifinal round onwards. From being a casual observer to a diligent follower of the game, from being an ardent fan of the charismatic Becker and his on court histrionics to the classy and infallible Federer, from being never close to even sighting a court nearby to picking up the racquet and playing a game albeit amateurishly, its Game Set Match Tennis.
